In this talk, I will discuss a collection of learning-based methods used to create digital garments. First, I will present a method based on advanced computer vision techniques and differentiable rendering to recover the surface of dynamic garments. Then I will discuss how these reconstructions are used to learn a regressor that estimates how a garment deforms as a function of the underlying human body, paving the path to realistic digital humans and virtual try-on applications.
